November 1, 2026 | Cincinnati Bengals 43–36 Tennessee Titans (OT)
Joe Burrow delivered one of the most chaotic performances of the NFL season, accounting for six total touchdowns — five passing and one rushing — despite throwing three interceptions as the Cincinnati Bengals defeated the Tennessee Titans 43–36 in overtime.
The game featured repeated momentum swings, costly turnovers and a dramatic finish.
Tennessee safety Amani Hooker intercepted Burrow three times, but the Bengals quarterback kept attacking and ultimately delivered the game-winning rushing touchdown.
First Quarter: Tennessee Jumps Ahead 13–0
The Titans started aggressively, moving downfield on their opening possession before Joey Slye converted a 46-yard field goal.
Tony Pollard then provided the game’s first touchdown, breaking free for a 40-yard rushing score to extend Tennessee’s advantage to 10–0.
Burrow’s afternoon became more complicated when Hooker intercepted a deep pass intended for Ja’Marr Chase.
Tennessee capitalized on its early control with another sustained drive, ending in a 29-yard Slye field goal.
End of Q1: Titans 13–0 Bengals
Second Quarter: Burrow Brings Cincinnati Back
The Bengals finally broke through early in the second quarter.
Facing third-and-18, Burrow connected with Chase for a 30-yard touchdown. The completion was especially important after a holding penalty erased an earlier touchdown to Chase Brown.
Tennessee struggled to maintain its offensive momentum, allowing Cincinnati to gradually take control of the quarter.
Late in the half, Burrow engineered a 67-yard drive and found Jake Endries for a one-yard touchdown with 20 seconds remaining.
After trailing by 13 points, the Bengals had taken the lead.
Halftime: Bengals 14–13 Titans
Third Quarter: Turnovers, Touchdowns and a Safety
The second half began with another costly Burrow interception, again courtesy of Hooker.
However, Tennessee immediately handed Cincinnati an opportunity.
Boye Mafe sacked Cam Ward and forced a fumble, which Dexter Lawrence recovered and returned to the Titans’ 17-yard line.
Burrow wasted no time capitalizing, connecting with Tee Higgins for a 17-yard touchdown on the next offensive snap.
Cincinnati led 21–13.
Tennessee responded with an 80-yard touchdown drive, capped by Pollard’s second rushing score of the afternoon from one yard out.
Ward successfully ran in the two-point conversion, tying the game at 21.
Burrow later threw his third interception, with Hooker once again making the play.
But the Titans’ ensuing possession ended disastrously. Backed up near their own goal line, Pollard was tackled in the end zone by Demetrius Knight Jr. and Lawrence for a safety.
Cincinnati regained a narrow lead.
End of Q3: Bengals 23–21 Titans
Fourth Quarter: A Shootout That Refused to End
Tennessee struck first in the fourth quarter after recovering a Chase Brown fumble.
Ward connected with Chimere Dike for an 11-yard touchdown, putting the Titans back in front 28–23.
Cincinnati answered with a 73-yard drive. Burrow found Mike Gesicki for a 25-yard touchdown, but the two-point conversion failed.
The Bengals led 29–28.
Tennessee responded again.
Ward moved the Titans downfield and found Wan’Dale Robinson for a 15-yard touchdown with 3:46 remaining. A successful two-point conversion to Gunnar Helm extended the Titans’ advantage to 36–29.
Now Burrow needed another touchdown.
He delivered.
Cincinnati marched 81 yards, and Burrow found Higgins for an 18-yard touchdown with 1:17 remaining.
Evan McPherson converted the extra point, tying the game at 36.
Neither team managed another score in regulation.
End of Q4: Bengals 36–36 Titans
Overtime: Burrow Scores His Sixth Touchdown
After throwing five touchdown passes and three interceptions through regulation, Burrow had one more decisive play to make.
In overtime, the Bengals quarterback scored on a nine-yard rushing touchdown to secure Cincinnati’s 43–36 victory.
It was Burrow’s sixth total touchdown of the afternoon — five through the air and one on the ground.
Final: Bengals 43–36 Titans (OT)
EST Takeaways
Joe Burrow produced six touchdowns but made costly mistakes. Five passing touchdowns and a game-winning rushing score represent extraordinary offensive production. However, three interceptions repeatedly gave Tennessee opportunities to take control. It was a spectacular yet deeply imperfect performance.
Amani Hooker deserved better. Intercepting Burrow three times was an outstanding individual defensive performance. Tennessee rarely gets that many opportunities against an elite quarterback, making the defeat especially frustrating.
Tony Pollard carried Tennessee’s ground attack. Pollard rushed for 117 yards and two touchdowns, including a 40-yard score that helped establish Tennessee’s early lead.
Cam Ward kept the Titans competitive. Ward delivered touchdown passes to Dike and Robinson and helped Tennessee regain the lead multiple times.
Cincinnati’s defense still raises concerns. The Bengals surrendered 36 points to a Tennessee team that entered the contest with just one victory. The offense rescued Cincinnati, but allowing repeated scoring drives remains a significant issue.
The Bengals improved to 5–2, but this was far from a comfortable victory.
Six total touchdowns. Three interceptions. One overtime winner.
Joe Burrow somehow packed all of that into a single afternoon.
