EST’s Take
This was a tremendous display of resilience from the Raptors, who refused to surrender despite trailing by 16 points in the second half.
Barnes deserves significant credit for his fourth-quarter performance. His ability to contribute through scoring, rebounding, and playmaking was instrumental in Toronto’s comeback.
Quickley was equally important, providing timely scoring and maintaining his composure at the free-throw line when the Clippers attempted one final rally.
Toronto also overcame a difficult shooting night from beyond the arc, finishing just 8-for-29 from three-point range.
For Los Angeles, this defeat will be particularly frustrating. The Clippers shot 37% from three-point range and received 19 points and eight rebounds from Isaiah Jackson off the bench, yet couldn’t protect a substantial second-half lead.
The Raptors improve to 4-3, while the Clippers fall to 1-6.
